Schönlinde, a town in Germany, became part of Czechoslovakia in 1919, now called Krásná Lípa in the Czech Republic.

This picture postcard shows the houses in the valley of the Krinice-brook to the west of the town market place. On the hill to the right there is the area of the former Calvary on the Kostelní vrch (Church-hill) with the Stations of the Cross, the prominent building in the far background is the hospital.

The building on the far left side with the 2 towers is the luxurious, beautiful and historic Romantic Chateau Krasna Lipa.
